Sunday Rides – 7th February 2016

The forecast of strong winds and rain meant that the group decided to take the usual winter route around the lanes of Piercebridge and Barnard Castle.

Route out – West Auckland, Ingleton and down to the turning of Langton where the early finish group turned off.  The others continued on into the head wind to Piercebridge and the lanes to West Layton and on to Barnard Castle for lunch.

A very rapid return aided by a tail wind with an average speed of over 20 miles per hour to Whorlton and Staindrop and back to Bishop.

50 miles covered and to use a cliché a ride of two halves!

The club would like to keep the forthcoming events page of the website more up to date than has been in the past.  If any club member has any details of any rides, events and races etc. please let any committee member or Keith know on Sunday mornings so the website can be updated for everyones benefit.
