Sunday 30th October

A warm Autumn day brought out 20 riders including Andrew, a guest from the Hebridean Island of Tiree  (although I am led to believe he didn’t cycle the whole way!)

At Evenwood Gate the riders split into two equal groups to ride at different paces and different routes.  Hopefully to meet at Catterick Caravans for refreshments.

The longer ride continued through Winston, Caldwell, Gilling West, Richmond and then on to Catterick.

A return journey was via Scorton, Croft-on-Tees, Manfield, Piercebridge and the back roads through Ingleton to Evenwood.

Phillip had today’s compulsory puncture (twice) but at least it was good weather in which to carry out repairs for a change.

65 to 70 miles covered by most riders today.
